In three decades, Ethypharm has developed more than 50 products that mainly treat pain, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disease and diseases of the central nervous system. These successes attest to the quality of Ethypharm's DDS technologies as well as their savoir-faire in development and registration.

In the past, Ethypharm's strengths have been in developing products intended to treat pain. Hence, the company developed medicines that covered all WHO-recognised areas of pain, from moderate to severe.

In the cardiovascular therapeutic area, Ethypharm perfected formulations and made key developments. More than 10 products are currently being marketed worldwide in this therapeutic area.

In the range of gastrointestinal products, Ethypharm has just completed the development of a generic Esomeprazole - a logical follow-up product to the successful Omeprazole.
